We appreciate you and the wonderful support we receive throughout the year. We’re truly grateful for the opportunity to help you improve your classroom.
We are especially excited for 2022.
We have a new book in the works and hope to add two or three videos a week on the SCM Facebook page.
We also plan to cover your most requested topics as well as new strategies to deal with rising levels of severe misbehavior and disrespect.
What follows in no particular order are the most popular articles of 2021. I hope they can provide some inspiration, reflection, review, and maybe a resolution or two.

Thanks for all you do, Michael! Our school has been greatly blessed by your instruction and insight!
Some parents ask for special tasks to be informed such as calling them is Suzie fails to turn in an assignment. One parent asked or told me to send him a notice whenever the lms we enter grades into calculates the gpa differently from the lms that we have to sync to to get the information to the parents even though all the assignment grades show up accurately synced. I.e., if a teacher makes 1,500 decisions per 6 hour day or 250 decisions per hour, why not add special decisions upon parental request even if the parent could easily obtain the information otherwise. All he has to do is look at the student’s gpa in her view.
Thank you very much for all your tips. It has helped me become a better teacher. Have a wonderful holiday break and a Happy and healthy New Year! Blessings.
Mike’s graduated from Ladue High school in 1976. I too remember bill hyde.
Thank you Michael and the team for continuing to provide safe sensible advice during a challenging time. Blessings to you all and have a well earned break.
